By using debtsolutionz.co.za, submitting the eligibility form or communicating with our team, you agree to these terms. If you do not accept them, please do not use the site.

2. What this website is

This site gives general information about exiting debt review in South Africa and lets you request a free eligibility check. It is an information and enquiry tool, not a guarantee of any outcome.

Nothing on this site is legal or financial advice for your specific matter. Advice only follows once a registered practitioner has reviewed your file and confirmed it with you in writing.

3. The eligibility check

The eligibility result is an indication based only on the answers you give. It may change once your credit profile, court order and account history are reviewed. A positive indication does not create a mandate, and we may decline a matter where a lawful exit is not available.

4. Your responsibilities

You agree to the following when you deal with us.

• Give accurate, complete and current information, and tell us promptly when something changes.
• Keep paying any amounts you owe until you are formally released from debt review.
• Provide the documents a practitioner reasonably requests so your application can proceed.
• Use this site lawfully, and not to copy, scrape, disrupt or misrepresent it.

5. Practitioners, fees and outcomes

Applications are prepared and lodged by registered debt counselling practitioners and attorneys working in line with the National Credit Act. Any fee is quoted and agreed with you in writing before work begins.

Timelines depend on courts, tribunals, credit providers and credit bureaux, so we cannot promise a specific date or a guaranteed result.

6. Intellectual property

The text, layout, graphics and branding on this site belong to Debt Solution ZA. You may view and share pages for personal, non-commercial use, but you may not reproduce or republish them commercially without our written permission.

7. Limitation of liability

We work to keep this site accurate and available, but we do not warrant that it will be error-free or uninterrupted. To the fullest extent allowed by South African law, and subject to the Consumer Protection Act, we are not liable for loss arising from reliance on general information on this site or from the site being unavailable.

8. Third-party links

Where we link to another website, that site is controlled by someone else. We are not responsible for its content, accuracy or privacy practices.

9. Changes and governing law

We may update these terms from time to time, and the current version always appears on this page. These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa and the South African courts have jurisdiction over any dispute.
